I see nobody jumped on this one, elk.
It was setup to add "karma" for members that offer up help for your questions. "Smite" is just the opposite. No big deal, really.

Basically "exalting" people for good answers, good questions, etc, to help tell the more experienced opinions from the others. A peer-to-peer evaluation system. Anyone can post 1000 times. With the karma thing you can look at someone like me with 300 posts and a 6 and someone else like Sol, MC, 19k etc, with 300 posts and a 15 and know I'm the class clown and those guys probably know much more about things. Short version: I like it. Some don't. |
