you are right sol, its the same but 4 inchs longer then the v4. great little heli. i think everyone should have one, and you can fly out side in a 2 mile hr wind, when rtf gets the brushless for it i will be the first in line. thats for sure. here that rtf?

I hear yah. Just finished testing the mod for the Totally brushless E-Sky HBFP 4-channel electric heli. The brushless kits are available today.

Xheli.com has the new supply of E-Sky Big Lama helis. So, I will order one this weekend. Which version of the BIG Lama did you get ?? 72Mhz or 2.4 Ghz version.

hey rtf my big lama is a 7.2fm mhz. hope that helps. cant wait to get this thing updated all the way with brushless. talk about a fun coaxcil to fly, imo it beats the lama 3 by far. and that goes for the lama v4 to, just fun heli to fly.

and the tailboom from a guru neon, the skids are from a wrecked g2. i did run it with the skids and stock motors and lifted just fine. stable as heck. flying it right now without a tailboom. just a stub in the air, damm funny thoe with beer ;D wish i could do videos.

What is the number of teeth on the motors Is it 10t, 11t, or 12t

Thanks. I was looking at a picture and it looked like a 12t pinion which is not standard. But if it's an 11t, that's perfect.

Should be a nice to modify when I get it.

I got the 12 tooth off of three different web sites that where selling parts for the lama on all sites they said motors with 12 tooth pinion sorry about that. One of the web sites was USHOBBYSUPPLY the motors for the Lama are 1/2 the price as the BS...Ray

It appears that this heli can use an 11t or 12t pinion. The 12t appears to be the original, but I see replacement motors that are 11t pinion.

Hi Dube I know one place you could lighten up the Big Lama at,, the blades are the same as the BS the blade grips on the Big Lama are 10mm longer hence the 10mm bigger dia. I have my BS flybar weight down to 8 grams and it fly's real nice I just received the Big Lama flybar it is 20 grams more there is no way you need that much more weight with only 3/8" bigger dia blade 28 grams total you could knock off 10 grams and not know the difference in the way it fly's ... Ray

So, if the blades are the same as the BS, then the Walkera 53#1 would work, too. Anyone know if Extreme make blades for the Walkera/BS? Or are the stock blades decent?

big lama with a hbfp canapy, v4 lama boom, and g2 skids, but still waiting on the rest of the stuff. could not wait, had to fly it.
