i love this coaxcil, it a fun heli for out doors. crashed it a number of times and still runs. tried to do some fast turnarounds and had some blade slap, fifty feet in the air and came crashing down. broke the main frame. parts every were. so i think i am going to try some upgrades on it. got the new frame the other day. and this thing is easy as two dollar hooker on a friday night to repair. rtf is working on a brushless system in the futrue for it and i cant wait. so i am putting in twin 380 brushed motors right now.PS dave please feel free to move this ti builds. as i forgot to do it when i was typing this, all i cane say is if you want a coxcil this is it.

I would wait for RTF's upgrade those 380's will end up pulling on the 3in1 to hard and burn it up. Ray

I think that the brushless motors will do that aircraft a world of good I will never go back to brush motors again I tried the 380 on my BS after someone told me they did it and it worked it did for about 10 minutes.... One receiver one battery... ended up building my own motors then going to the brushless. Let us know how it goes!! Ray

I was on another forum and the X-treme 380 doesn;t seem to work that well. The motors are also heavy. Raygun is correct and when they have the E-Sky Big Lama in inventory, I;LL buy it to modify. It should be easier than the Exceed Blazing Star/ Walkera HM 53#1/ Walkera M 53#8 Mod since there is more space to work with. Also, the E-Sky BIG LAMA uses an 11.1volt LIPO, which is perfect for these brushless motors.

RTF you are correct. 11.1 v on the big lama that s what i like about it. it takes the bigger batt.swiching it to that upgrade that you sent me on the pm. just wish they made a metal upgrade for it as well.

Thats a better looking metal upgrade than the BS nice find it looks just like the little Lama. Maybe I might just buy that and put it on my BS the shafts are the same size. I cant see why the brushless upgade for the BS wouldn't just bolt right in you have more room for wires. and if done right it will loose some weight. Ray

Looks good, dube. If you didn't know those are 370 motors, that looks exactly like my Lama4 without the body. I guess there isn't a lot of difference, other than the size of all the parts. Could be a good candidate for brushless once the motors go out.
