I took a look at the control rods for Align this morning. Looks like the stock EXI is about 300mm (approx without taking my ball links off). The Align metal rod is 280 mm. The Align CF rod is 250mm. I ordered these along with my 11T pinion (first one I got was 3.17mm bore). I'll probably give the CF a try. But even if I don't like it, the standard Align one will give me a little breathing room.

I said I was going to wait till next week to order my kit but after looking at these pics the I'm not sure I can hold off that long. You were right in your other post. If you wait, the price will go up (or it will be out of stock). You never know with those guys. If you have the cash, pull the trigger. This is a nice kit for the money. I am having all kinds of fun with it and I haven't even put the blades on yet ;D DAM I wish my other servos would show. They are coming from Canada and apparently are held up.

Alright, I just placed the order.
If my wife asks I'll swear you made me do it. ;D

AWESOME! Remember also that when Xheli goes out of stock, whatever it was that you want may NEVER be back in stock!
That's awesome that at least you now have the heli. You can now breath a sigh of relief!
The parts to make it fly are everywhere! Kent

That SoniX motor will work fine on the EXI. I have that same one (different supplier, different colour) and I think Kent does too on one of his helis.
I went with the 40A ESC since the motor is a bit more amp-happy than others. I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to ESC's.
Other than that, I think you have it all. A good 2200mAh battery will finish it off.

Yep, and if you get a Zippy battery, I can now attest to their crashworthiness! I crashed my T450 today fairly seriously. The Zippy battery (2200ma 30c) is crumpled on the end now. I charged it up and it's still PERFECT!!!
I was amazed! Kent

Post up that link again, Tony. I repaired the tags and now it is a dead link. Sorry 'bout that. edit It's ok now. It had too many "]" in it.

Hey Kent, do those packs ship from a US warehouse?

Only the 20C 2200mAh, not the 25 or 30C.
