This can't be true. Tell me this is NOT true. There are no such ladies on the planet. This is not something that exists. Please tell me that. Kent She has to exist. Right next to my dream dark haired beauty with the accent....I'm a sucker for a pretty girl with an accent.....

Got the new TT drive and tail gear on today and flew a few packs. I replaced all the bearings on the whole heli.Nose to tail. It has never been more rock solid. It is even quieter and smoother looking. When you cut the motor it takes forever for the blades to stop spinning.I also oiled all the bearings and greased the gears. One small glitch though. On the second pack,I clicked on the Helicommand and it almost shook the heli out of the sky. The position hold mode didn't suvive the crash.Oh well.Good enough time to loose the training wheels.lol. I hardly ever use it anyway. Oh,I also have a new battery.I think I mentioned it. 35C. Quite a bit bigger than the XP25's

Gotta love that tail. Especially like the shape of the tail blades. Is that an upgrade? Painted CF?
Are the two batteries the same mAh? 2500 on the original, wasn't it? Big difference in size.

Yup.Painted CF. The first two packs are 2200mAh XP25's. The new one is 2500mAh XP35.
Align tail blades are pretty freakin cool looking. Thanks for stopping by ;D

Well,I hope the weather in Ohio sux for the next week or so. I have decided to send my Helicommand in for repair or replacement and they need my radio with it. If I send it tomorrow(Monday),David says he can try and have it back to me by Saturday.
I think it needs fixed in case I want to use it on a new 600 or maybe a scale in the future.

I can't imagine! Did you send it in?
Now, YOU WILL LEARN TO FLY without it!!
But you already have!
I can't wait for the time when I can see what the deal really is with the helicommand! Kent

Yeah,I can definately live without the Helicommand but I had to send my radio with it so they can use it for final settings. THAT,is what I'm missing. Can't fly without it

There's always the Mcx if you didn't bind that to the DX7 too.
Happy landings

I got the BNF MCX. The DX7 is the only TX I own I hope to have it back by Saturday. I told David to let me know if the Helicommand needs more than software. If so,pack it up and send it back to me and I'll eat it. I need the radio back.Quick, fast and in a hurry ;D

That's the ONLY negative to these radios! Anything happens to it and you are 100% grounded... I too only have the DX7.
I wonder why they need your radio? Couldn't they use another DX7 and then just tell you what the settings need to be?
Seems a little odd.
Hey Mckrackin, if you get desperate, let me know. I am leaving the country for a couple of weeks and I could ship my DX7 to you to use while yours is away... Kent

I wonder the same thing. He probably doesn't want to screw his up. The TX settings are complicated as heck. If I was to hook my heli up without the Helicommand it won't fly. The settings are buried deep.
Thanks for the offer but I should have it back this weekend.
I'm actually considering a DX6i for a closet TX.

What a bummer mc. I must admit; I've got too many Tx's. While inconvenient in some circumstances; I never get entirely grounded either. Sometimes "old school" isn't so bad. ;D
Happy landings

I mean I am grounded!!!! I can't even set my E-sky TX up on my Phoenix sim. I need my DX7 for that even. I've been sitting here watching tutorials on Phoenix.lol... It get's worse...Evidently,David and I were on completely different pages when we spoke on the phone. We both assumed(yeah,I know)that we each knew what the other was talking about. Turns out,he didn't need my radio with the helicommand.Well, not only the radio. He needs the heli Frak frak frak. lol...I've told him that that isn't an option even though he is willing to pay shipping both ways to perform free work. I need my stuff back for the weekend. By the way, free shipping to get free stuff and labor??? Helluva an offer huh ;D Anywho,he is going to copy my settings to his PC,reset the helicommand, reprogram it and test it on HIS Trex 500. Then he is sending my stuff back and I will have to do the test flight. He is sending the software and connectors so I can fine tune it as well as hand written direction in laymens terms so I can do the tuning. He was just as shocked that the heli wasn't coming as I was to hear it should've been. He has gone waaaaaayyyy past normal customer care to make it right though. Ah,the saga continues.lol... Anyway,I still hope to be flying this weekend ;D
