I ordered a metal head and tail upgrade for my honeybee king 2. I already converted to a brushless motor. When it comes in I will take some pics and share the adventure of the upgrade with everyone.

Dynam 30A Brushless ESC BEC Motor Main Gear Pinion 9T (I have a 10T and an 11T, but the 9 is what I am using) HDX Brushless Motor 4000KV 2.3mm w/ Motor Fan - King V2/V3
The only thing about the motor is that I could not mount it on using the holes that the screws that held the old motor would fit into. I could not get them to align with the mounting slots. I wound up taking the fan off and using the screws for that to mount the motor with using the smaller holes that were closer to the shaft.

The interesting thing about those HDX motors is the mounting arrangement. One set of holes is closer together than the other. One set of mounting holes takes a 2.5mm bolt and the other takes a 3mm bolt. I think the narrower set is the 2.5mm, but don't quote me on that.

I looked everywhere for screws and actually found a 3mm but it was still too big to fit the smaller threads.

Thanks for the link Solitaire. On another note, I am still using the stock gyro. I have been thinking of getting the telebee gyro. Is this any good, or should I be looking for a better one?

We've had success with this gyro. www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet/the-1403/xmhobbies-digital-gyro-G401B/DetailIt's also available from Deal Extreme for a lot less money, but they've been in and out of stock a lot lately. Akent has this gyro on at least two of his EXI's and says it works very well. Mine isn't finished, so I can't give a review on it yet. Better functioning gyro than the Telebee from the reviews. It's heavier than the Telebee, at 14.2g, if that's an issue. The Telebee is 9.7g.

I think you can order those screws on line with fatenall.
Telebee is a good gyro the G401B is better from all I've heard.
Happy landings
