Well said 19k, I upgraded to FBL on my Exi 450 with the Tarot fbl system and head a few years ago. It's still a work-in-progress but I'm starting to get it dialed in, something that I'm the not greatest at. Had another flight 2 nights ago. I forgot the good feeling you get after a great flight.

rc that's the essence of the hobby for many us; figuring out how to make things work and investing the time and effort. The more you do it the better you get at it. I'm still learning too.
I had a great day of flying the fixed wings today. 11 flights shared among my 90mm Jf-17 and Eurofighter and 70mm Vampire and Sea Vixen. It doesn't get much better for me than that.

Well Technically yesterday.
It was a bad day for the fleet sports fans..... Crash Report: 1st Flight: Eva Biplane - Total airtime 10 seconds, maybe. Cause: Not sure. Me I guess. Video of the carnage in EVA Build thread.
2nd Flight: Cermark GBR3 - for some reason the left wing split, didn't break though, but when it split it snapped the servo wires. Lost control. The carnage was minimal because it landed in a wild bush. Retired it. Will cannibalize it soon.
3rd Flight: Foamy Profile S-Bach 342. - it was too windy for this plane. I don't like it anyway. Made to learn 3D. I bought it when I wanted to teach myself to hover low. I'm over that now. Retired it. Will cannibalize it soon as well.
Good News: In August, I purchased a UMX Pitts S-1S. I was walking through my LHS and there it was. I'm a sucker for a Pitts. So I bought it. It had been sitting on a shelf since then. It was pretty windy and I wasn't sure how it would fly. Based on my first three flights, I was a little worried that it would meet the same fate. However perseverance in the face of adversity made its maiden seem sweeter:
So yesterday wasn't a total loss. I got to spend time with my son before he leaves for Navy Boot camp (week from Tuesday) and I got three fun flights in to end the session.
