Thanks, Elk. Little buggers aren't they?

They sure are! I ended up buying the Align ball link pliers specifically for those tiny links, my other pliers were too big and they are very hard to work with without the small pliers.

I tried a piro for the first time with her today. Not perfect but pretty close. I have come to the conclusion that this is a VERY hard heli to fly for someone with my (lack of) skills! I had to set her down fast at the end because of a neighbor's kid coming to the left of the camera but the landing wasn't as bad as it sounds. No damage. Colin it might be my eyes, but it still looks like you have a bit of a tail wag to work out nunya

You are correct Dube. I have increased the head speed and reduced the gain and it's still there, although not as bad as it was. It's driving me nuts. I'll keep working on it Colin

I ordered a set of support rods for the copterx 250 from align as I have just heard too many stories about those rods coming apart on the copterx and the hk250gt ;D And I have already changed the ones on the hk250 and liked the align ones. While I was changing them on the copterx I noticed that the align rods were 1/2 inch longer I am assuming that will give more support to the tail ;D Well what I discovered to my surprise is that the copterx rods are 1/4 inch shorter than the hk rods and the hk rods are 1/4 inch shorter than align rods So three different models and three different lengths of boom support rods Just a little discovery this morning
