gaui EP 425 build is here

what i am i thinking, ordered the gaui ep425, with the scorpion HK3026-1100kv motor, this heli can be upgraded to a 550 like my swift, longer blades and tork tube upgrade, got a good price on the kit. 59.00 comes 90% assembled. so its a artf.

has any one here thought of a gaui heli? 36inchs long. i could not pass up that deal, i realy have a problem, again

I've "thought" of a Gaui, but haven't bought one. They are supposed to be very good helis. The only negative I've heard is parts aren't as available as Trex and Trex clones.

[/img]ok got the gaui today. so the build is on for the first gaui on this forum. here are some pics of how the kit comes, just for starters, they say the kit comes 90% built already, not true. the head is the only thing that is 90% put together l.o.l oh well. but thats what i like, i got the time for it right now, so here we go ;D

did you mean to type 59.00... Smoking deal if that's right. Gaui is a big sponsor of the Electric Flight Expo. That's what they had to fly in the competitions last year. I got to see quite a few of the 200's. I thought about a 255 before I decided on the Align 250.

well i worked on the tail and the cnc head last nite. so here they are

got to work on the frame today, but a bit of a set back, the tork tube will not work with the stock frame from what i cane see, so its eather buy the fiber frame or go with the belt, hmmm i will ponder this for awhile, but anyway here are some pics.

ok i pondered for awhile, its going to be the belt version for now. i will buy a fiber frame at a later date when the one i want is in stock. so back to the man cave to tear it down and put in the belt.
