I finally got a meter on the set up. 41.2A, WOT, and 465 Watts. Not bad.

Here she is with floats and skis. We've got about 9" of snow on the ground, so I'll test her on that first with the skis and then fly it with floats on both the snow and water. BTW, if I hadn't mentioned this before; the wife has named it the "Blue Hornet". It kind of sounds like a hornet. I hope to have some video of it soon.

Excellent! I love those floats and skis!
It will be interesting to hear how it handles with those floats!
465 watts is good power. That plane doesn't look like it would weigh much...
What motor are you running?
Very nice! Kent

The floats and skis don't change the handling much in the air except at lower speeds where the airflow around them seems change the flight attitude a little bit. Once above 1/2 throttle it seems to fly much like the wheeled version. Rolls, high Alpha and the rest are very good. Takeoffs are very nice and the landings are extremely smooth.
The motor's an Eflite Power 10. We're doing a kit with Eflite elctronics to be available soon at HobbyZone.com.

The floats are great on the water until you try to steer it a low speed. I'm going to add a rudder extension into the water to solve that problem. The floats work well on the snow. Better than the skis.
