Here's the forward cab freshly painted without windows installed yet. The green color on the page is not accurate of what the color is. Attachments:

I will get it all detailed out this weekend and take some outdoor photos so you can see the true dark olive drab green. I am hoping without the belt driven tail this Alpha motor will have more poop if not I will order a turnigy typhoon when they come back into stock.. Ray

OK Dave I was going to use an automotive grade paint but then I found the krylon True Flat camo paint. I checked it with a color swatch and it was the same color I was looking for. This paint is made for plastic but be careful it has a softening agent in it to adhere to plastic since mine was fiberglass it is no problem but on thin PVC it may warp it after a few days. The paint dry's to the touch in 20 min. but stay's solvent for up to 7 days.. Ray

Never had it warp plastic yet, but see how that might be possible with a soft plastic like styrene. I've got some .014 styrene I'm going to shoot it with Fusion and see what happens. It works great on foam to.

The nice thing about flat paints are you can always do a repair and blend in easy. I painted cars for years and the new spray paints are not bad. Heck they even have a self etching primer in a spray bomb it works good on aluminum.. Ray
