Man, have you got me confused. Not about the servos, but about your whereabouts. Pedro (Mexican origin) from the Pacific Northwest (USA) and displaying a Canadian flag (or trying to). You've got the North American continent pretty well covered there. Your BlueRay likely has digital servos, but the BlueRay owners can verify that. Digital are more precise than analog, but use a tad more power. Metal gears will be obviously stronger and many use those. Metal will also be slightly heavier, but either can be used. No real difference between 8 grams and 9 grams as far as whether or not they'll work. Just make sure the size is correct for the opening the servo needs to fit. Without researching the XHeli page, the metal servos are likely the 9 gram ones. All servos come with a 3 wire extension and the necessary plug to fit your receiver. No additional wiring or soldering necessary. Good luck with the rebuild.

Sol is right on the money. I've used both with my Blue Ray. I do remember one of the exi servos not fitting because of the shape of the top.
Personally, I would spring for 3 DS420 servos by Align. You'll be thankful you did. If it's too expensive, either one of the x-heli servos should work. Unless you're doing some serious 3D with a high powered motor and banging the collective hard, you won't have an issue.

I have a BR 450PE (new to 450 size), it came with a 1800 mAh 3 cell, if I use a higher mAh battery it will be 50-75 g heavier, is this a big weoghtr / balance concearn or no big deal, it will just fly a little heavier in the nose?

Will not make that much of a difference pedro. I have a BR and use 2200's in it and you can hardly tell the difference. Dave

2200 is the standard size battery for 450's. I use them in mine. I suggest a higher c rate battery though - at least 20-30c.

Pedro, I have been using the EXI D213F 9g servos from Hobby Partz. There metal servos and are really quit. They seem to be pretty strong also, they center nice, for about 9 bucks each. I have not had one go bad yet.

Servos should always come with servo horns. The manufacturers tend to make the teeth on the horns different so they tend to be specific to each servo manufacturer.

I hope you meant you got them from Hobby Partz, wich is the same company but the servos are only 8 dollars compared to 15 dollars from Xheli. Go figure same company but parts are not same price. You really have to watch those guys.
Yes they come with all the hardware. Like mentioned they all have there own sizes.

Shakey, I got them from xheli but the D213F are the same $ at both sites for 7.70 ea, but I did find if you go to the Blueray product page and go to the "spare parts" tab they show a generic metal/digital servo for 15.00 each with no real product model number or description, I actually phoned them on this and got an unsatisfactory answer so I just went with the D213F, thanks for looking out for me though and thanks for all the help.
Just got this heli, my first leap into the 450's and havent got it off the ground yet, waiting for parts sucks (btw I did get extras:-).
Anyone know where you can get a swash leveler, all the top sites seem to be out?

Yes like 19K said, save your money and just use a zip tie. Just measure to top of your swashplate as you spin it. It will get you very close. Good luck with your build. Ya Xheli screws up a lot on orders. I have 2 brand new 250 swash plates because they sent me the wrong ones the 1st time. They never ask for them back. Figure some day I may need them or sell them to someone that needs them. They also just sent me a replacement skid set for my new EXI pro and did not include the rubbers. Had to call them and get 4 coming. Makes you wonder if there's intelligent life out there.

I need to change out some servos on my BR450. the main servos on the heli are installed to the frame with small sheet metal like screw that go through the frame holes and fasten into small peices of backer matirial that looks like bits of fibreglass wafer or somthing the screws thread can bite into, this being my first 450 I am not sure if it is typical, seems like little machine screws & nuts would have done a better job, my heli is used but untouched from what I know, are these the way they come from xheli and should I be able to use the same bits the existing screws fit into?

Here's what all the "pro's" I know do. Take a few extra servo horns and your dikes, and clip right across the second to last hole on the arm. So you should have one and a half holes. Use that as your backing, it hasn't budged on me once Also, I you haven't seen this yet, use a small zip tie to secure your tail servo pushrods guides in place. They have tiny bumps on the top- run your zip tie through the raised part, cinch it up and clip it short. All by the book!

I need a little help finishing my setup (digitalradio), thanks for the manual (Jerry Shaw and freinfds) its been alot of help as I am realy new to the hobby.
I see the manual has a step to setup Mix 1 with VR-B and Chanel 5, this is straight forward, but there is no mention of setting up Mix 2 or Mix 3 and I am not sure it is nessesary but I have a BR450 and there is a file floating around that has Mix 2 and 3 as shown below with settings but disabled/switch off, are these inputs required and if so please explain:
Mix1 [use VR(B) as gyro gain control] Source VRB Des Ch5 Up rate 100 Down rate 100 Switch On
Mix 2 (disableD) Source VRB Des Ch6 Up rate 100 Down Rate 100 Switch OFF
Mix 3 (disabled) Source CH3 Des Ch 1 Up Rate 36% Down Rate 0 Switch Off
