Reverse the servo using the switches at the bottom. What TX do you have? The one that came with it?

Self locking nuts on spindle shaft???
After a crash I needed to replace blades, main shaft and a bent feathering shaft on my Blue Ray, I ordered the feathering shaft replacement from Xheli 18H-MM0007 and it came different that the original, my original has hex screws and the replacement came with self locking nuts, at the same time i ordered a new rotor housing 18H-MM0002 and new main rotor (blade) holder 18H-MM0001, so i made a new upper head assembly using all these new parts as i assumed they were all compatible and should be, I read a bunch of posts and assembled it with the dampers, bearings, washers and spacers in proper order and thought I did it correct, I had to play with the tightness of the self locking nuts because if they were too tight the blade holder rotation became too tight, if I removed the aluminum spacers so I could tighten down the nuts completely there was too much space left, there was enough shaft thread through the self locking part of the nuts to hold BUT apparently not, I did a small test hover and had a vibration, moment later (while landed fortunately) one spindle shaft nut came off and released both blade holders with blades while under power (duck and cover time)…
SO what the heck? What have I done wrong? Are these self locking nuts supposed to really hold?

T-Rex spindle shafts work. Get the ones for the V2. That what I use in mine. Even comes with screws.

Even if it has a self locking nut, I still use locktite. They can become worn and not hold like they should. I never trust them. Just me but I'd rather be safe.

I have a Blueray 450 PE with the stock head that is in need of damper replacement. The stock damper is sky blue and measures 4mm ID X 6.3mm OD X 2mm thick. It fits very snug into the head that also measures 6.3mm diameter. Sense the BR head is not an exact clone of the Trex 450 SE V2, how will the larger replacement dampers work and how much trouble will I have installing them?
The Align, Trueblood, etc. replacement dampers all measure 4mm X 6.5mm X 2mm. That means a much tighter fit into the 6.3mm hole.
What have you all been using and what will be the difficulties in installing the new ones?? Thanks for the input.

Hi Warp: Welcome to the forum!
I used to have an EXI 450 Squadron which is what the Blueray (at least used to be) is based on.
I used Align dampers on mine with no trouble. They are a tight fit, but the softer ones will be easier to install. You should also use a little grease when installing dampers. The Exi heads seem to come built dry. That's why the dampers don't last. The aftermarket hard dampers will also show up any minimal amount of out of round and out of balance in the head. I used the soft Align black dampers.
I still use the Align black dampers on my Exi 450. They are all the same.
Best, Kent

Thanks Akent for the info. I'm going to try the Align 80 degree black dampers.
Update: I actually used red dampers. They fitted in just right and they make the head much tighter and more accurate.
