Well I tried both suggestions and neither worked. Still no music, beeps are very low, no throttle at high stick and throttle at low stick. Took Ray's suggestion and hooked up the new ESC to my BL and still no programing with the card and still no music or setup beeps. Requested a RMA from heli direct and I also ordered a new program card. Ray thinks they may both be bad I guess we'll see...Later.....ron

I think I asked him that a couple times but I think he tried that all ready but that sure would seem like the problem but then again I don't have a Futaba radio ;D

Yeah guys I did it today before reading this and YES that was the problem. Ray I apologize if you mentioned it I missed it altogether. That's how frazzled this thing has got me. Now it the beeps are louder, I have my "song" but when I throttle up the motor cuts off at about 2/3 throttle. I did try to set the throttle end points a few times but it still cuts off about 2/3rd's throttle. Also I guess the program card I have must have been a one use card because still does not allow me to move around the card.

Sounds like your battery isnt feeling like holding its voltage too well.
Are you using a linear throttle curve ?

Yeah after the problems started I set up the throttle curve at a 0,25,50,75 & 100% curve. I don't know It seems like it may be a programming issue in the TX. I just don't know where. This is the first time using a programable TX.
The motor issue was the battery. The one I was using was on the way out I guess....ron

Now I just need to set up the tail rudder and servo. Don't have a lazy susan but I'm sure the top of a tiled table will do. It will show movement from side to side. One question which is for the futaba guys is when or what do I do with the gyro setting on the TX?....ron

If you have an old junk record player that the platter does not just lift off you can screw a strap across the turntable to tie the heli down then throttle up to about mid throttle and see what happens. Make all your corrections from there, If it holds the tail solid until mid throttle you will be damn close to when you fly it.. Ray

Fall Over The lazy susan??? I build them with a wide base and the heli is tied down to the platter it is not going anywhere you can throttle up to full throttle if you want with the blades on to get the full effect of the torque. But nothing can tip over only spin.. I guess I dont know how else you could get any effective test if the main rotor was not up to at least the speed of a hover.. Ray

Ronp, no need for a lazy Suzan. Asphalt or concrete work really well, and it's safer than a table top inside.
Or a large piece of cardboard on the ground allows the skids to get light and slide too.

So basically which ever method I use I'm going to have the heli on the ground, table, cardboard and will spool it up. As this point I'm getting rotation at 25% throttle. Now if I understand correctly, after centering my servo horn of course, I slide the entire servo mount back or forward till I basically get no rotation or as little as possible. I have found that after correcting the rotation at about 25% throttle and bring it up until it's light on the skids, it starts to rotate the opposite direction. As I stated before I'm using an analog servo until my new digital arrives so I know it's going to have a slower reaction time. Also if I understand correctly the gain or delay on my GY48V is to be adjusted to eliminate wag on swing. Phil you have a Futaba TX. What does the gyro mode on the TX do?

I have not noticed any huge difference in the analog vs the digital servos so once you get it setup and change over I don't think it will be that drastic.. Ray
