The left stick will move the elevator, airleron and pitch servos at the same time I have a question tho Have you switched your radio over to heli mode yet you need to make sure of this and that you have 120 degree swash type chosen otherwise your not going to get your movements that you need to set up your heli I think your radio comes as a airplane radio by default needs to be switched over And that might be why your only moving one servo

OK realized the rudder was plugged into the the gyro wire back wards. You would think the plugs were made so that wouldn't be possible. With this gyro and servo it can get plugged in incorrectly pretty easily. Now one other question, the throttle in channel 3, does the left front servo move up and down as you push the throttle stick up and down? Also would really like to learn more about how and why the settings on the TX are what they are and what they do. Is there anywhere that explains this? The book tells you how to set the values but doesn't tell you what happens and why...I just don't like doing things without knowing why.....thanks again for all the assistance so far....ron

One other issue is how do I set the trims for all the servos?

yes the servo moves with the throttle as will the other two all three cyclics servos move with the throttle make sure your radio is on heli not airplane
If you had futaba rx and futaba servos they would only go one way into the rx but everyone is going to jr style connectors on there servos and they will plug in any direction
you have to setup your swash mix first before doing anything else

Phil how do I know if I have to set my swash and how do I mix it? Like I said I'm new to all this tech stuff. Coaxials were easy, put in the battery and fly, maybe a trim adjustment once in awhile....LOL

Hey Phil these are the settings I got from the Internet. How do they look to you? Also where it gives percentages on all channels for some functions like D/R and Expo it only shows channel 1, 2 &4 not 2,5or 6 but on the sheet below it shows percentages for all 6 channels.. Code: Settings Below:
REVR Servo Reverse/Normal:
Channel 1 = Reverse Channel 2 = Reverse Channel 3 = Reverse Channel 4 = Normal Channel 5 = Normal Channel 6 = Normal
D/R Dual Rate Setting in %:
Ch1= 100 Ch2=100 ch3=0 ch4=140 ch5=0 ch6=0 Ch1= 100 Ch2=100 ch3=0 ch4=140 ch5=0 ch6=0
EPA End Point Adjust Setting in %:
Ch1= 100 Ch2=100 ch3=100 ch4=140 ch5=79 ch6=100 Ch1= 100 Ch2=100 ch3=100 ch4=140 ch5=80 ch6=100
TRIM Trims:
ch1=0 ch2=0 ch3=0 ch4=0
EXPO Exponential Setting in %:
Ch1=-15 ch2= -15 ch3=0 ch4 = -10 Ch1=0 ch2= 0 ch3=0 ch4 = -0
F/S Fail Safe in %:
Ch3=0
Throttle Curves Now:
NTH Normal Throttle Curves:
P1=0% P2=40% P3=55% P4=77% P5=100%
N-PI Normal Pitch Curves:
P1= 40% P2=55% P3=70% P4=77% P5=100%
I-TH IdleUp Throttle curves: ****WHEN LEARNING****
P1=0% P2=30% P3=50% P4=75% P5=100%

those settings are good for reference only . All helicopters are set up different from each other they are there own machine. to start go to menue and the go to swsh mix and make sure they are 50 across the board that would be airleron pitch and elevator. Then move your throttle stick up and down make sure your swash is moving up when you push throttle up if not you need to figure out which one insn't moving correctly then change the swsh mix numbers from a positive to a negative or vice versa making sure they are always the same numericle numbers as in - 50 +50 and +50 or the otherway around to get your swash moving correctly And yes you will have two negatives and one positive or vice versa. once you get that then you will need to change your servos to work in the right direction Also is very important to have the correct swash in the menue for this let me know how it goes

When I move the stick to the right the aileron should go up or down. When I move my stick right the aileron servo goes up. The elevator servo goes up when I push it up and down is down.

when pushing the right side stick to the right the swash plate should tilt down on the right side the swash plate should follow your stick imputs left and right the elevator servo when you push the right stick should go up

OK the throttle or pitch servo was going down when I pushed the stick up. Changed it to -50 and now it goes up when stick goes up, yeah..

Ron You need to get your swash/servos moving in the right direction before setting any D/R and expo, or any throttle/pitch curves, or trims.
Log in to Helifreaks and watch Finless' videos on CCPM Part 1 and 2. That'll give you all the info you need to get it setup. It's a bit complicated to explain thoroughly on here.

so when you push throttle stick up all three servos go up at one time what happens when you move the right stick looking from the back what do the swash plate then does it follow the right stick
And yes finless has some very good videos on setup well worth watching

OK when I push up the throttle the pitch servo went down but I changed it to -50 now it goes up, follows the stick. Right stick, when I push it right the stick right and swash goes up, when I push it to the left the right aileron goes down. I that's incorrect. I think. The elevator, when I push the stick up the swash goes up and down it goes down.

you need to reverse that servo do that with the servo direction function or servo reversing program

again my thanks Phil Phil in an earlier post you mentioned selecting the swash type. You stated 120 degree, the choices are as follows 1-s, 3-s, 3-e, what is the correct one for 120 degree? SWSH Swashplate types selection & Swash AFR (HELI only) This function can select from three swashplate types. Swash AFR can be set, if you choose 3-S or 3-E type 1-S: Independent aileron, pitch and elevator servos linked to the swashplate. Most kits are 1-S type.
3-S: With Aileron inputs, the aileron and pitch servos tilt the swashplate left and right; with Elevator inputs, the three servos tilt the swashplate fore and aft; with Pitch inputs, all three servos raise the swashplate up and down. Elevator Front Pitch (Aileron) Aileron (Pitch)
