Thanks Guys. Phil you had mentioned that all three servos raised the swash plate when given throttle. It seems like only the pitch servo goes up and not the aileron or elevator. The other two work but only with the right stick.

Yes they do that is why it is important to have your tx set on heli mode your swash mix tells them to move and what direction to go when you give throttle make sure the servos are plugged in correctly channels 1,2 and 6 are the channels you need for cyclic let me know how it works out

Ron Before this gets any more out of whack, please set the swash mix and any servo reversing back to what it was originally and watch the videos.
Just in case you missed it...CCPM part 1 and CCPM part 2
It will become much clearer after viewing.

Hey Sol great set of videos, am learning a lot. Still a few spots I'm unclear of with the TX. Phil he states in the video to set the sub trim but I don't see that selection on my 6ex. Would I just use regular trim? Also when I'm in the trim option it only gives me channels 1-4 to choose from, why not Channel 6 for the rudder servo? Hey but I'm getting there. Another year or two I'll finally ave this down...LOL....ron

use the trim settings in the radio for adjusting your trim channel 6 is for your pitch and should go to the servo on the right side of heli do not adjust channel three on trim option that channel is for throttle channel 4 is for rudder leave that one at 0 and channel 5 is for your gyro gain and switching between rate mode and heading hold mode
Finnless videos are great but he doesnt use a 6ex radio to tell you how to do it and the 6 does not have all the functions he talks about but he does give the basics for sure

As I said before when I go into the trim mode it only shows me channels 1,2,3&4; no 5 or 6. Do I needed to add these channels some how on the TX?

on the 6ex you don't have channels 5 or 6 in your trim program channel 6 you will adjust with your swash mix channels 3 and 4 and 5 you dont adjust the only channels with trim that you will adjust is 1 and 2 and adjust them to be level with channel 6

seems like everything is moving correctly now. When I push the throttle up all servos go up. When I push the right stick right servo dips down and opposite when pushed left. Elevator has always been good. The only thing that confuses me is that on the swash setting all are +50 but everything seems OK..

The swash mix settings can vary from heli to heli. I'd check your blade pitch when you've completed the head setup. If you aren't getting +/- 12 degrees, then you can increase your swash mix until you get the desired pitch. The same goes for your aileron and elevator mixing. If they aren't as responsive as you like, and you've already decreased the expo, crank up the mix a little more.

Well I completed watching the videos a couple of time and set up the head at least I thought I did. Put on the blades and body. Took her out on the deck, spun it up and it didn't do anything but spin. Looks nice but just sat on the deck and spun real fast. Here are a couple of pic's, looks nice, doesn't fly.. Very disappointed.....ron ; ;
