That's cool. I built my own Y cable for 2x3s for the 500, and bought a similar charge adapter, too.
These ended up being a pain to deal with.
I hope yours works much better!

I just learned something disturbing. Two 2800's in series are just 2800mAh.Not 5600. They would have to be parallel to double mA. And parallel would still be 11.1 volts  |

Crap.2800 won't fly 2 minutes I bet.
I'll try it and sell them to one of you 500 owners if they don't perform.2800 is perfect for 500's.
Then again,I may be buying that HK500 sooo.........

I tested your theory just now,,,I put two 3s 2200mAh packs on my 600,,,,,I doubted that it would equal 4400mAh,,,,I have a 4500 6s that gets me 6 minutes. So,,,I timed it with the two 2200 3cells in series.
I got under 3 minutes,,,like 2 minutes 45 seconds,,,,the heli died quickly and I puffed one pack!! I was afraid of that,,so I kept it under 5 feet. Good thing,,,,I had about 4 seconds from when I heard the power drop 'til the heli was uncontrollable!
LOL,,,,the 600 EATS 3 cell packs and never burped!!! ;D

But RC Dudes is fast,,,I placed an order tues,,the 7th,,,and received my order today,,,the 10th. Not bad for delivery in the sticks of the U.P.!! ;D |

Yea,,,LOL,,,,I read the post where you said what you were doing,,,so I tried it,,,,I ran back here to tell you about it and the first thing I see is what I just found out. LOL,,,,timing is everything! ;D I think the 3s pack is ok,,,,,swelling went down,,,,I'll charge it and see if it holds.
