I know I don't like flying fixed wing with neg expo. A few jumpy ones I put some in until I got familiar with them but quickly removed it after.

Hi Guys i'm really new to heli's. Can someone tell me in ley mans terms the difference between batteries. I understand the V & the mAh but not the 3S or the 15C.
Can you go bigger in mAh to get more flying time. Will the batt size be bigger.
I also had my battery so far forwards the lead was stretched. I moved it back & put some blue tack on the front of it to get the balance.
So can I use a higher rated batt. Does it have to be 3S & 15C.
Could someone post me some sites to go to for batteries.
Thank you.
Stan.

Ps.
I should have said. I'm New to RC of any kind. Not just heli's. This is my first RC of any kind. I'm having fun but it's hard work, at my age I seem to take ages to move along the learning curve.
But it is so much fun, I'm determined to keep at it till i can fly.
Thanx again, any & every bit of help will be much appreciated.
Stan,

Thank you. Stan. The C rating is how many amps you can pull safely from a battery with out harming the battery the higher the C rating the better but it will also make it heavier as will a higher MAH. The 1,2,3,4,5,6, is the number of cells 1 cell is 3.7 volts 2 cells are 7.4 volts 3 cell is 11.1 volts and so on. When you charge them to there peak they will be one volt over that rating but only for a short time after you start drawing current from them.. Ray

You can goto HobbyPartz or HobbyKing for just about any battery you will probably pay less at HobbyKing but it may take three weeks to get here.. Ray

Try to re-bind the TX to the RX I have had a few of these fail to stay bound. If you are getting no response and there is no signal the gyro light will stay red. Ray
