Whew, for a second there I thought the threads might be inappropriately tapered.

I did not want a sudden drop or shoulder that causes a week point so I tapered them down then straight cut..
Also a big thanks to Ernie M. sometime back he sent me all his spare 450 parts some crash parts as well,, without them I would have had to order all kinds of small parts and not knowing if they would work or not. With what was there I could mix and match till I found what I needed I wish I had everyones junk drawer no telling what you could build!!! Thanks Ray

Here is the complete setup with the custom made links. They are 308 stainless and are larger in dia. because of there length. They are tapered down on the ends to the appropriate thread size. That looks pretty sweet. I wonder if the fixed weights will do anything for stability.....

The flybar is CF and is pressed into each end it does not go clear through. The little weights are machined out of delrin plastic. I went through some Huey pictures and tried to replicate it fairly close.. Ray

Well I tore the Huey down replaced all three servos with metal one's Installed the MCPX board found there was not enough room where I wanted it remounted it to the side. It really works neat as you move the body around the swash counters the reaction. I am using two RX's one for the motors tail servo and gyro and the rx in the MCPX board for the Pitch,Ail,Elev. servos. My wife says it has more wire's in it than a real one but thats what makes it fun!! Attachments:
