The Fat Lady (Dave) wants to convert the flybar into a BBQ spit for cray fish and needs the parts. would work great for riblets also ;D

Well my flybarless head come from HK today Hooray!!!!! Wait a minute they did not include the hard dampers crap!!! well another order to helidirect will fix that. HK was out of servos as well but Sol came to the rescue and sold me some from his emergency stash. It will not be long now,,, 19000 want to play with this again? Ray

WOOOPS!!! good thing you said that I was going to commence the tear down. I have been practicing with the MCPX and Ernie was right if you can fly one of those you should be able to fly just about any of the 450's.. Ray

With some machine work I am going to make the flybarless head look like the Huey the stubby little flybar they have will of course not work but it will look neat.. Ray

Well here is my Huey Flybarless head with a fake Huey flybar. It is all machined out of aluminum and CF I had to modify some of the parts to accept the RJX style blade grips to the EXI head I used this head because it was taller than the Flybarless center section and it looked more scale. The fake flybar is modeled after a real Huey I just have to build or buy the linkage from the swash to the blade grips I will probably just make some at this point. In flight it will look the same as a real one and I have the flybarless MCPX board for the flybarless controller ready to mount after I change out the servos.. Attachments:

Here is the complete setup with the custom made links. They are 308 stainless and are larger in dia. because of there length. They are tapered down on the ends to the appropriate thread size. Attachments:
