I know we have a G2 manual in the guides section, but why not sticky it over here?

Would a trex 450 tail rotor work with the g2? I was doing some research on the g2 and one guy said that the trex 450 tail is compatible with the walkera 36(g2 clone). www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=408112&highlight=walkera+owners+ Its in the first post. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using a trex 450(or trex clone) tail on there g2 and if it would work? Thanks.

Haven't tried it, but after looking at that thread, can't think of a reason it wouldn't work.

Check out this new g2- www.xheli.com/exrcg2brrche.html Its a new version of the g2 that comes with the walkera 2.4ghz computerized tx. Its only $15 more and it comes with a decent radio plus brushless. I would of bought this one instead of the one I have in a heart beat if I had to do all over again. To bad they dont sell the tx & rx seperatly.

I haven't read anything about that radio system though, so I'd be reluctant to buy it without some positive reviews.

True but everything else on the g2 is a walkera clone so I would think the radio would be too. Not 100% sure though.

Walkera has had it's share of 2.4 problems, that's why I would be hesitant to buy one without some good reviews first. The one that came with my wifes chinook binds funny and there have been a number of other problems too and I don't know if they have cleared those up with the one in the G2.

The G2 doesn't have any bad habits so most problems are either do to set up or unfamiliarity with CP flight characteristics. A slight slide to the left on takeoff is normal and countered by some right aileron. Let us know of any problem you experience and there will more than likely be an answer forthcoming.

I hear that 2801 is OK. I have never looked at this thread cause I don't have a G2 anymore but there are a few questions here I could have answered on the spot. I guess I need to stop going where I need answers and start trying to contribute sometimes too.lol... Will a Trex 450 tail work on a G2?Absolutely and the best one out there for the job is the all metal one from xmseller.com I'm 3 months late with the answer but maybe for future prospects.lol... This is my old G2 with the tail from xmseller I ain't kiddin, that tail was like a gyro upgrade by itself.
